Los Angeles City Hall and the LAX pylons will be lit in rainbow colors this evening in celebration of LGBTQ Heritage Month, which will be officially declared this week in a special City Council presentation led by Mayor Eric Garcetti, Councilmembers Mike Bonin and Mitch O'Farrell, and Controller Ron Galperin.

The lights will kick off a series of Pride-related events held throughout the city in the week leading up to the LA Pride Music Festival & Parade this weekend. The LAX pylons will remain lit in rainbow through the weekend, while the lights at Los Angeles City Hall will continue through the remainder of the month.
