Yeghig began his career as a Policy Aide for Congressman Ed Royce of California. Next, Yeghig worked at the Armenian Assembly of America, political advocacy organization. Most recently, Yeghig served as the Government Relations & Policy Manager for the Central City Association, a Los Angeles-based business advocacy organization focused on land use, transportation and economic issues.
Yeghig holds a Bachelor of Science in Policy, Planning & Development from the University of Southern California and a Master of Arts in European Politics & Policy from New York University.
What is your favorite spot in L.A.?
Barnsdall Art Park and the Hollyhock House: Being perched on top of the hill, you are presented with an amazing view of the Los Angeles. The variety of cultural, artistic and recreational activities makes this site a favorite destination of mine.
What is your top priority for the Central Area?
I will work with business and community stakeholders to improve the2 living conditions of Angelenos residing within the Central Area.
What is one fun fact you would like your constituents to know about you?
I hiked to Machu Picchu last September. Having the opportunity to travel back in time and walk the Inca trail is an experience I will never forget.
