Veronica Polanco Erin was born and raised in the West Valley where she lives with her husband and two dogs. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from California State University, Northridge, with a focus on interpersonal relationships, gender dynamics, research studies and data analysis. For nearly 10 years, Erin worked in the private sector helping youth and families in need before transitioning to public service. Before joining the Mayor's Office, she was a Field Deputy for LA County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl for over three years, where she represented areas in the West Valley, Westside and Metro LA. During her free time, she can be found listening to an audiobook while working in her garden or reuniting with friends and family.
