1) What's your favorite place in Los Angeles?
I love the Pacific Ocean. For me, there is no more refreshing, invigorating experience than swimming in the ocean or body surfing. I am thrilled that the area I represent contains the coastline of Los Angeles and that I'll be helping to carry out Mayor Eric Garcetti's clean water initiatives. We all a have duty to be stewards of this great natural resource.
2) What are your top priorities for the West Side?
First and foremost, my duty is to serve the people who live and work on the Westside on behalf of Mayor Garcetti. Ensuring basic city services and public safety all flow out of this. Transportation is also a priority. We can do better and I'm convinced that there are transit solutions to getting around (and in and out of) the Westside during peak traffic hours.
3) What's one fun fact that you would like your constituents to know about you?
I coached youth soccer for 8 years and I miss it terribly. I'll be dropping by the field at Mar Vista a lot.
