Mayor Garcetti Opens Help Desk

Garcetti Focused on Better Customer Service In Person, On Phone, Via Internet

Mayor Eric Garcetti today unveiled the Mayor's Help Desk outside of his office on the third floor of City Hall.  Staffed by his constituent service team, the desk offers help with the full range of city services and is the only such service point in City Hall.

"The Mayor's Help Desk means that there is finally a one-stop service center in City Hall where people can go for help solving any problem they may have," Mayor Garcetti said. "Customer service should be the priority here at City Hall."

People can also obtain help from the Mayor's Office at lamayor.org, by calling 213-978-0600, or via Facebook and Twitter (postings/tweets should include the hashtag #lamayor).

Mayor Garcetti is focused on bringing city government back to basics -- creating jobs and making City Hall work better to solve problems in our neighborhoods. He has required every city department head to reapply for his or her job and started interviewing them yesterday.
